Kids Email Toolbar

I have created a new toolbar for KidsEmail that will make it simpler for parents to approve messages in the mail queue, manage contacts, and view their child's activity logs. 

For kids, it gives them a 1-click access to their inbox as well as to write a new message.

I know that some people love toolbars and some hate them.  What are your thoughts?  Here is a screenshot of how the toolbar looks:
