WHY ISN'T KIDSEMAIL FREE?
KidsEmail prides itself on being able to offer a safe alternative to other email accounts. There are many companies that offer these accounts for free, but most--if not all don't have any parental controls or filtering specifically for kids. Furthermore, these companies get their revenue mostly from advertising. KidsEmail has no advertising inside the child's login area because the content must be controlled to keep it safe. KidsEmail charges a very minimal price to offset the cost of offering this service. We feel it's a small price to pay for safety and peace of mind.

HOW MUCH DOES KIDSEMAIL COST?
KidsEmail is free for the first 30 days. The 30 days is a trial period. You are NOT required to pay at anytime for the trial period. You are not required to keep the account. Automatic cancellation of account will occur one month after expiration of trial if no payment is made to continue service.

If you decide to keep your subscription to KidsEmail, you may choose between a monthly, quarterly, or yearly subscription (best deal). You can view the rates here.

HOW MANY CHILDREN ACCOUNTS CAN I HAVE FOR THIS PRICE?
Unlike our competitors who charge extra for each child you have, we allow up to 5 children per paying adult!

MY CHILD ISN'T RECEIVING ANY EMAILS, WHAT COULD BE WRONG?
First, please check the mail queue. This is where the email goes when it has failed the safety settings that you set for your child. If it is there, simply approve the message and it will be delivered to your child.

If the above is not the issue, please check to make sure the address is not blocked.

DO I NEED TO HAVE COOKIES ENABLED?
Yes.

DO I NEED TO HAVE JAVASCRIPT ENABLED?
Yes.

WHAT OPERATING SYSTEMS IS KIDSEMAIL COMPATIBLE WITH?
KidsEmail will work on any operating system with an internet browser. KidsEmail will work with Windows, Linux, Mac, etc.

WHAT BROWSER IS THE BEST TO USE?
KidsEmail has been programmed with strict HTML code. It should be cross-browser compliant with Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, or Safari. The WYSIWYG portion may differ from browsers. We have had best success with the WYSIWYG on Firefox and Internet Explorer. We recommend Firefox on all platforms.

WHY DO THE EMAILS HAVE A TAG LINE AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH MESSAGE?
This is a notice to the recipients of the message letting them know that this message has been sent from a child. Children are protected in most states against the unapproved signups for spam lists. Also, recipients will not be confused whether they are talking to a child or an adult.

HOW DO I MAKE A PAYMENT?
To make a payment, log into the Parent Control Panel

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A PAYMENT TO POST TO MY ACCOUNT?
If you use a credit card to make a payment, it will be instantaneous. PayPal payments can take up to 3 business days depending on if you have available funds in your account. Otherwise, PayPal is also instantaneous.

WHY ISN'T KIDSEMAIL FREE?
KidsEmail offers its services at the lowest cost possible. We would love to offer it for free, but there are many costs associated with providing the best safe and filtered email in the world. We believe that our prices are a small price to pay for the safety of your children.

CAN I GET COPIES OF MY CHILD'S EMAILS?
Yes, you can be copied on incoming and outgoing messages. You can approve these messages remotely.

HOW MANY CONTACTS CAN I HAVE?
Unlimited. There isn't a limit.

HOW MANY FOLDERS CAN I HAVE?
Unlimited. There isn't a limit

IF I CANCEL AFTER I PAY IN ADVANCE, DO I RECEIVE A REFUND?
