No error message when address incorrect
« on: June 14, 2009, 12:50:01 PM »
If you try to send an email made of a single word, the page just reloads without any error message.  For example, if you type just "dad" into the To: field and hit send, the page just reloads.  It seems like it should give an error, or try to look up the address the child probably meant...

The reason that no error is given is that an email address of:
'[email protected]' and 'dad' can both be valid.  If it does not have an extension, then it searches the internal users (kidsemail.org users) to try to send them an email.

I suppose that if an internal user cannot be found that we can return an error the the child.  I will look into this in the short future.

Thanks!
